Exposure Time Calculators

The following tools should help you to determine exposure times for your planned observations. While every effort has been made to test these tools, you are asked to please confirm that they produce sensible results by comparing with the sensitivity tables given for each instrument.

• Imaging ETC - for imaging with FOCAS, IRCS, MOIRCS.

• HSC ETC - for imaging of HSC

• HDS ETC - for spectroscopy with HDS.

• IRCS Grism ETC (SPICA) - for grism spectroscopy with IRCS.
• IRCS Echelle ETC - for echelle spectroscopy with IRCS.
• PFS Spectral Simulator - for spectroscopy with PFS.
