The following image (upper) shows the
typical bias images (1X1 binning) of chip1 (right) and chip2 (left).
These images are shown as is (i.e., no image flips/rotation, or,
vertical direction for Y and horizontal direction of X of the CCD
coordinates). See a cartoon below (these two are shown at same
orientation). As you can see, chip 1 has larger number of dead columns,
especially near the optics axis and toward high Y regions. Note that
there are some more weaker dead columns, i.e., not all dead columns can
be seen in the following images.
